The Family - "That dear octopus from whose tentacles we never quite escape, nor, in our inmost hearts, ever quite wish to."
-Dodie Smith
Family is the corner stone of our lives. I often wonder what would I be or where would I be if I did not have the love and care of my family. A loving and caring family is the best gift of God but unfortunately, we have forgotten it.
In today's fast paced world we prefer to seek comfort in materialistic things such as money, wealth and careers. They are important, period. But they are not likely to provide you with happiness. Think about it this way, what use is the money if you don't have your family on whom you can spend it? You just sealed of that mega dollar deal with a multimillionaire client but you don't have anybody to share your happiness with. Money can provide you with luxury cars and lavish homes but it won't be able to comfort you in trying times. For that you will need your family. A successful career can give you name and fame and a few foes as well but if you really wish for sincere well-wishers you will again need your family.
Our family is that fertile ground which nurtures us both spiritually as well as morally. Your family plays a vital role in shaping your personality and helping you in becoming a productive member of society. Children usually feel secure and comfortable with their parents and siblings. Those who come from a close knitted family are usually happier and satisfied with life in general as compared to their peers.
Ever since the beginning of time man is a social animal. He dwells, thrives and wants to live in groups and needs others to enjoy life. It is not his nature to go on living alone. To share our happiness or to get comfort in times of sorrow we need family. Our family is the one who truly cares for us and loves us without conditions or demands. They are the group of people around whom you can really be yourself without the fear of being judged. They are the ones who provide you with strength to hold on tight and fight back when times are tough. Give your family some time and take care of your family because.
